In the mix window, the record-enabled track's slider and record button are colored red. The record button, as well as the solo and mute buttons, are available. In the screen to the left, there is one mono and one stereo track. Note the differences in the panning controls and the meters.
Above the controls are several slots for pull-down menus. The top two areas are for inserts and sends. We will discuss these later. The next one is where you can select the input. In the B33 studio, there are only 2 inputs for the inputs. You can select no input or—for a more creative routing setup— a bus input as well.
The final pull-down menu controls the output routings. Again, there are only two outs on our standard MBox, and again, there is "no output" or busses from which to choose.
